Everybody can decide to be sick but the wise manage their sickness well.
Terrorism, hooliganism and killing aren’t the solution to life’s problems, we all can decide to be sick and become a terror. Nobody is afraid, wise ones just decided to make a good choice and give peace a chance.
I met this guy who lost his father and mother in a bomb attack in USA. As the only child of the family. He has nowhere to turn and nowhere to run, it’s not like the movie we all watch every now and then, where we see somebody who dies in a film and in the next movie you see the same person acting in another role or character.
In reality when you’re dead you’re dead and how painful is it to lose a love one.
It puzzled me as a child in those days, when I watched some lovely movies that would move me so much I was at times close to tears. The innocent tears of losing a favourite character whom I love that dies in a movie and only to see the same character in another movie.
I use to imagine how was that possible as a child, but now that I am a grownup I can understand.
You see a child’s mind is innocent and they seem to believe everything they see or hear especially from those they love and trust. So be careful who talks to your child and be interested to know what they tell them.
But this guy is not a child, and the sense of losing his dear ones is deep and only he understands how it hurts.
Well, Counsellors will follow procedures and can appease to his immediate state of mind, emotions, but such pain and wounds will stay with him for a life time.
As he had also lost the entire members of his father and mother family in a ghastly motor accident some years back. Little wonder he is so provoked and angered.
The gaze of terror lingered through his sparkled eyes.
To make the story worst the only people he had ever known trusted and love were killed by a road side bomb on a missionary journey to Gaza. If you were him what would you do?
He felt devastated, dejected and rejected for several months before he summoned the courage to join the US Marine Core as a Commando. All he ever wishes for is his revenge not only for his family but everybody that makes his life a living hell. He has chosen not to marry or to have children. Only God knows the damage he would do.
As I listen to his testimony the fear of silence and terror of what he is capable of doing engulfed the atmosphere. And he looked at me sharply with a grin on his face and said I am all out for the bad guys and nobody can save them from me.
So you see terror breeds more terror! Let’s learn to become wise. Let us give peace a chance.
